After 13 months of construction, Zooplus‘ new logistics centre started operations now. The Münsterland-based Fiege Group that was entrusted with the construction will be also responsible for all Zooplus services in Hungary such as receiving goods, packaging, dispatch preparation.
The logistics company forecasts to increase the number of employees from 220 to 500 by 2024. The Fiege Group is already in charge of a second Zooplus‘ logistics centre in Italy.
The logistics firm is run as family business in fifth generation now and occupies more than 23,000 people at 133 facilities in 16 countries. Its latest sales were amounted to 1.8 bn euros.
