India’s pet market continues growth. The Creature Companion trade magazine forcasts sales amounting to 533 mio dollars by the end of this year.
The magazine expects the sales oft he pet industry to grow about 22.15 % per year to 1 bn dollars by 2026, of which 80% will consist of pet food.
According to National Geographic, 35 million dogs live on India’s street, an increase from 17% by 2016. Furthermore, there are more idividuals care for street dogs.
