According to petfoodprocessing, on July 23, SunRice Group announced its acquisition of Australian pet food company SavourLife for $20.3 million AUD ($13.4 million USD). Known for its premium dog nutrition products, SavourLife donates 50% of its profits to dog rescue organizations. This acquisition will enable CopRice, SunRice’s animal nutrition division, to expand into the branded companion animal market while continuing to support SavourLife’s social mission. SavourLife will maintain its team, formulas, and commitment to donations post-acquisition, ensuring the continuation of its impactful work.
