Mars Incorporated’s SHEBA® brand, in collaboration with AMV Stream, has introduced Reef Builders, a documentary highlighting the Sheba Hope Grows™ initiative. Directed by Stephen Shearman and featuring environmental advocate Auli’i Cravalho, the film showcases global coral reef restoration efforts, including projects in Indonesia, Kenya, Australia, and Hawai’i. David Smith, senior director of Mars Sustainable Solutions, emphasizes the urgent need to restore reefs, as nearly 90% of tropical coral could vanish by 2043 without intervention. Since its inception, the program has installed over 87,000 Reef Stars, contributing to reef recovery in 10 countries. Mindy Barry, SHEBA’s global vice president of marketing, sees the documentary as a tool to inspire awareness and action for marine conservation.
