According to Selçuk Cetin, General Manager of Ulusal Fuarcılık, Turkey’s pet sector saw significant growth during the pandemic, with consumer spending reaching nearly $1 billion in 2023, and exports expected to hit $500 million by 2025. The event attracted 50,000 visitors and featured a wide range of products, including pet food, grooming supplies, and cat litter. Seminars and grooming competitions were key highlights, showcasing Turkey’s professional pet care advancements. International visitors from countries like Bulgaria, Iran, and the UK attended, while exhibitors acknowledged China’s leading role in the global pet industry. PETZOO 2025 is scheduled for October 8-11, 2025, at the Istanbul Expo Center.
