Mars, Inc. announced partnerships with ADM, The Andersons, Riceland Foods, and the Soil and Water Outcomes Fund to advance regenerative agriculture across 150,000 acres in North America, including Arkansas, Iowa, Nebraska, and Ontario, Canada. These collaborations, led by Mars Petcare US and Royal Canin USA, aim to help farmers adopt sustainable practices such as reduced tillage, cover crops, and extended crop rotations, improving yields and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This initiative aligns with Mars’ broader sustainability strategy and its Net Zero Roadmap, which seeks to reduce Scope 3 emissions by scaling climate-smart agriculture. The partnerships focus on improving soil health, water quality, and biodiversity, and will be tracked using verification systems.
