Delegates of the German Pet Trade and Industry Association (Zentralverband Zoologischer Fachbetriebe – ZZF) have selected Norbert Holthenrich as president for the fifth time at the 75th conference. In his new and last term, he promised to work “for good general conditions in the pet supplies sector and the positive development of pet keeping”.
Norbert Holthenrich described the last year as an “emotional rollercoaster”. The whole sector had to face high inflation as well as rising costs of energy, transport, and packaging. However, pet ownership stayed strong and “the omens for the pet sector were good,” he concluded.
