Lennard Smit was appointed new CFO and COO effective from May 1.
Smit can look back on 20 years of experience in the human food industry, such as different positions in the finance sectors of Leerdammer, Kerry Bio-Science and Westland Cheese.
At IQI, Smit will take the responsibility for finances, IT, operations and human resources. He will be in charge of the strategic direction to strengthen IQI‘s position among other pet food companies and the presemce in Europe and North America.
“I’m excited to start working at IQI and I look forward to a new challenge in the exciting world of pet food that is totally new to me,” Smit said.
