The Czechia-based Plaček Group celebrated the opening of its first Super Zoo store in Croatia. This is despite the fact, that the Fressnapf Group wanted to open new pet stores partnering with the Unconditional Group owned by Edvard Varda but has not got down to announce ist plans already.
The Plaček Group’s outlet is located in a retail park in Kaštel Sućurac and ranges over a sales area of 400 m². The store meets the latest modern standards and provides customers the opportunity to purchase a great variety of products and livestock such as small animals, reptiles, tropical fish and birds.
There are already plans to open the second store in Velika Gorica in October and two more stores in Vinkovci and Čakovec the next year. The company’s overall aim is the opening of 20 Super Zoo stores in Croatia within the next 5 years.
