Kormotech, a pet food producer based in Lviv, Ukraine, has become the first from Ukraine to export pet food to South Korea, offering its super-premium brand Optimeal and premium brand Club 4 Paws on South Korean e-commerce platforms. The pet food market in South Korea is notably large, with 67% of sales occurring online. Kormotech’s products are now available on 12 e-commerce platforms, and the company plans to expand to pet store chains and veterinary clinics by the end of the year. Last year, Kormotech achieved a turnover of $152 million and increased its share of foreign sales to 31%, maintaining its leading position in the Ukrainian market.
