Responding PET worldwide to a list from the German competition authority on 28 October, the Fressnapf Beteiligungs GmbH takes into account a minority venture with MAGA.
One main reason for this cooperation are all the problems concerning the supply chain and raw materials for example, that the industry has to deal with. Fressnapf intends to secure the supply of raw material and the ongoing production.
The probable partner MAGA Beteiligungs GmbH plans to be the majority shareholder investing in a new facility producing wet dog and cat food. MAGA is also an umbrella company for the producers of Interquell and Bionic Nature. Fressnapf wants to own a minority share in the new company.
