The Belgian pet trade fair Anido in Kortrijk saw an 11 per cent increase in visitors compared to 2022, benefiting from its synergy with the concurrent DIY, Pro & Garden fair. Anido 2024 hosted 135 exhibitors and 4,906 visitors, matching pre-pandemic attendance levels. The fair highlighted significant international participation, with nearly half of the exhibitors and over 28 per cent of visitors coming from abroad. Key trends included a focus on sustainability and pet health, with many manufacturers showcasing eco-friendly and health-promoting products. The New@Anido competition featured innovative products, and live aquascaping and hamsterscaping presentations were popular among attendees. The next Anido will be held on 25 and 26 January 2026.
