In early October, Zooplus, the foremost online retailer for pet supplies in Europe, partnered with GXO Logistics, a contract logistics service provider, to inaugurate a state-of-the-art logistics center in the Czech town of Bor. As stated in Zooplus’s press release, this new facility augments their package processing capability by an impressive 60,000 square meters and incorporates cutting-edge automation technology.
The logistics hub is already operational, achieving a loading rate of over 30 packages per minute and facilitating the dispatch of more than 200,000 customer packages on a weekly basis. This development is anticipated to efficiently meet the escalating customer demand for Zooplus’s products in central and western Europe.
