Voff Premium Pet Food, a prominent European producer of premium natural pet food, recently confirmed its acquisition of Carnibest, a Dutch enterprise renowned for crafting unprocessed raw pet food for dogs and cats. Financial specifics of the transaction remain undisclosed.

Established in 2001, Carnibest has built a reputation for its top-tier raw pet food, meticulously curated from high-quality ingredients to ensure optimum pet nutrition. The company operates in both the Netherlands and Belgium.

Carnibest’s integration is seen by Voff as a valuable extension of its existing line of natural, raw pet food offerings. This acquisition is anticipated to augment Voff’s product range and solidify its presence in the central European market.

Anders Kristiansen, recently appointed as Voff’s CEO, conveyed his excitement regarding the acquisition, stating, “We have been following Carnibest for a long time and are certain that we can jointly continue the success story that Carnibest has been since its inception.”

With the acquisition, Carnibest’s owner, Corine Bunschoten, will be stepping down from her position to explore fresh opportunities.

Reflecting on her tenure with the company, Bunschoten expressed, “Carnibest has been synonymous with premium quality raw dog and cat food for over two decades, and it has been a pleasure to be able to build this great company. I trust that Voff, a fellow believer in natural, premium pet food products, will build on and expand the Carnibest brand, in addition to serving our customers even better.”

This acquisition marks Voff’s second venture into the Dutch market this year, following its acquisition of Energique in February. It is also the company’s tenth acquisition since its inception in 2014.
