Natura Plus Ultra Pet Food

French manufacturer Natura Plus Ultra Pet Food is expanding production due to rising sales. President Matthieu Wincker revealed plans to enlarge office and factory space in Estillac.
A fourth expansion project is scheduled for 2024, increasing the factory’s total area to 13,000 square meters. Current production lines could handle sales of €150 million annually. Future plans include building a new extrusion plant by 2026 and boosting online sales. The company aims to strengthen its presence in physical retail stores, with eight in France and plans for 10 to 20 new stores yearly.

Petmex Company

Petmex Company, a Polish pet food manufacturer, is set to open a new factory in Polanka, Małopolska, expanding its operations from existing facilities. Located within the Kraków Technology Park, this initiative marks Petmex’s fourth project under Poland’s Investment Zone program, focusing on wet food production for dogs and cats. With an investment exceeding PLN 28 million (US$7 million), the company aims to create 10 jobs and upgrade existing facilities. Petmex also eyes expansion into North American markets, alongside its European presence. Founded in 2014, the company is led by local entrepreneurs Krzysztof and Damian Napora, with Krzysztof Napora serving as president of the management board.

Lyka

Lyka, a Sydney-based pet food subscription service, has expanded into Victoria, creating over 100 local jobs. The company invested AUD$16 million (US$10.5 million) to open a new pet food plant and distribution center in Melbourne’s Dandenong South suburb. According to the Victoria State Government, the facility boasts cutting-edge production lines and automated equipment, enhancing efficiency and nutrient preservation. Additionally, it includes a national distribution center that will quadruple the current distribution capacity, improving delivery times and reducing food miles. This expansion strengthens Lyka’s ability to supply fresh pet food across Australia.
