After raising £835,000 (€942,000) in a seed funding round by Vevolution, an investment platform founded by Damien Clarkson and Judy Nadel, the British vegan pet food startup The Pack unvealed plans to launch a new healthy oven-baked dried food line starting with the first product in spring.

The startup aims to expand its business in Europe, mainly in the Benelux and the Northern countries, but has already made contact with suppliers in Asia. According to The Pack, there is another funding round planned for the second half of 2023.

The startup became famous launching the first plant-based protein stew wet food for dogs. The Pack co-founder Clarkson explained the company’s goal “focus on creating highly palatable premium products with functional ingredients while endeavoring to offer consumers a price competitive with meat-based food.”
