On 1 June, Scott Krebs assumed his new position as president of Wenger. Before, Krebs served as CEO and president of Wenger’s subsidiary Extru-Tech. In 1991, he started working for Wenger as project engineer that is way he comes with more than 30 years of experience in the pet food industry. He will mainly be responsible for strategy an team leadership in the US, Denmark, Brazil, and other countries.

In 2022, Wenger was acquired by Marel which is a provider of advanced food processing systems.
