Royal Canin announced the building of a new strategic logistics plant covering 26,500 m2. The project incorporated to buy an estate and to build a modern built-to-suit warehouse.
The new plant located near Kraków will be next to the company’s existing factory, that manufactures dry products for 24 European and Asian countries.
According to Agnieszka Sadowska, Supply Chain Director at Royal Canin Polska, due to rising demand, the companies storage capacity in Poland“will soon reach the limits”.
“The new warehouse is designed to serve operation in a strategic horizon considering the growth of volumes and new capabilities or routes to market”, she explained to GlobalPETS.
Finishing construction works at the end of October 2022, the factory shall start operations in December.
