Pet food producer Pets Choice will start with the building of a new plant including a warehouse, an industrial section and a shop after getting the permission.
The new site will be locates in Blackburn Lancashire in North West England.
“We have a number of top-selling pet products in the UK and need to expand our facilities in order to increase manufacturing capacity,” said CEO Tony Raeburn.
For Head of Operations Peter Birch, this permission follows an “exciting period of growth for Pets Choice as we look to expand our facilities,” he added in an interview to GlobalPETS.
The company, that also produces pet accessoires, could register a major growth within the past two years, especially its own brands and private label production. Furthermore, Pets Choice has made acquisitions of 5 other brands.
There has been no further detail reveiled since the timeplan has to be set up first.
