At the Petquip awards ceremony during the Pats show in Telford, accolades were presented in 15 categories to recognize outstanding suppliers, retailers, wholesalers, and distributors. New awards this year included the Rising Star and Employee of the Year categories, the latter awarded to Charmain Cane from We Pet Independent Wholesale and Michelle Williams from Associated Veterinary Services. Frozzys and Pawsome Pets Boutique both received gold awards for their marketing campaigns, while Kölle Zoo, Jollyes, and Trusty Pet Supplies were honored for their innovative retail concepts. The evening’s prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Celia Hammond for her advocacy in raising awareness about animal cruelty.
