According to a recent announcement by IQI Trusted Petfood Ingredients, Chris Schneider was appointed new sales leader of North America on 6 July. Schneider shall helop to strengthen the company’s position across North America.
Schneider has formerly worked as global senior commercial director of pet at DSM and senior director of sales and demand at Omega Protein. He comes with over 27 years of experience in sales and procurement. Furhtermore, he has already worked with marine and specialty claim ingredients.
“I’m thrilled to join the IQI team and continue growing the foundational business that has established our presence as a valued partner in the pet food industry,” Schneider stated. “Additionally, I look forward to collaborating with our customers by introducing novel, nutritional and functional ingredient solutions.”
Officially, he started working for IQI on 22 May in order to support the company’s expansion across US and Canada.
“Hiring Chris illustrates our growth ambitions in North America, and his experience in specialty ingredients will accelerate our existing and new business development,” said Mark Oostendorp, IQI’s CEO.
