According to an announcement of the private equity business L Catterton, the company has invested in Shanghai Enova Pet Products, that owns the Chinese premium pet food brand Pure & Natural. Through this investment, L Catterton enters the China’s pet food market using its global experience as well as the know how of building brands.
Shanghai Enova Pet Products, founded in 2009, is one of the leader of Chinese pet food market. The company developed patented premium pet food by using special research and cutting-edge technology.
L Catterton sees itself as the global consumer-focused private equity business with 30 bn dollars of capital and hosting 17 offices worldwide. Since its founding in 1989, the company invested in about 250 consumer businesses.
