The UK pet retailer Jollyes revealed plans on expanding in Northern Ireland. The comany wants to invest £325,000 for the opening of new stores and the support of the suppliers.

First of all, Jollyes will open a new store with an area of 6,700 sq ft and an integrated Pamper & Groom Spa. The launching of another new store in Cookstown will take place in February.

Regarding ist suppliers, the company wants to strengthen ist relationship to Mackle Petfoods by extending the product range. Furthermore, Jollyes wants to work together with Belfast-based Frozzys and Coolock Dublin-based manufacturer Beddies.

Laura Hadden, regional manager for Jollyes in Northern Ireland and Scotland, stated: “People here in Northern Ireland love their pets and over the years we’ve built up a solid bond with our customers here right across the country. We’re looking forward to reaching out to more customers here with a new store at Cookstown and a new state-of-the-art store at Newtownabbey. Together, they’ll give us the best offer we’ve ever had for pet owners in Northern Ireland.”

Jollyes goal for 2022 is to open new stores by acquisition of smaller retailers and choosing selected sites in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
