The Israeli online marketplace to compare insurances „Insuranks“ has published the new study on American pet owners covering the overall pet ownership and purchasing behaviors.
According to the the American Pet Products Association, pet ownership has increased so that at least 70% of all households in the United States have at least one pet. The most popular pet is the dog, whereas around 21% own dogs and cats at the same time.
Since the study revealed, that pet owner mostly spent money on veterinary bills (51%), Insuranks expects more pet owners to conclude an insurance using the advantage of Insuranks.
