Pet food manufacturer Hill’s Pet Nutrition Asia has partnered with Zurich-based multinational DKSH in order to distribute its cat and dog prescription and sciene diet lines in Malaysia.
Hill’s intends to profit from DKSH operations in Malaysia since 1923.
According to DKSH, increasing demand for pet food and a special interest in premium pet food were the main reasons for this cooperation. The company will also undertake sales, merchandising, field marketing and credit and collection services.
“By harnessing DKSH’s robust distribution capabilities and Hill’s Pet Nutrition’s exceptional pet food offerings, we are confident in our ability to drive market penetration and reach a wider audience of pet owners,” stated Puneet Mishra, Head of Country Management and Vice President at DKSH Malaysia.
