Following the opening of Zolux Iberia and the buying of a brownfield site in Saintes, the French pet supplies firm Zolux has now announced the acquisition of Cat-Gato. The Czech company owns a production facility covering 15,000 sqm.
As part of the agreement, the Zolux Group has purchased all of the Czech firm including equipment, machinery, 72 employees, inventory, brands, and models.
“With three subsidiaries now in Poland, Italy and Spain/Portugal, plus sales networks in 50 countries, we have moved a step closer to our target of ‘Made in Europe’ with the acquisition of Cat-Gato,” stated Zolux. The company already gets 71% of its supplies from Europe.
