Thai Union Group PCL has published its 2023 Sustainability Report, highlighting progress toward its SeaChange® 2030 goals. These goals include reducing Scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas emissions by 42% by 2030 and achieving net zero by 2050. The company has made significant investments, including THB 250 million towards ecosystem protection and implementing zero waste initiatives at five global facilities by 2030. In 2023, Thai Union reduced GHG emissions by 8.8%, increased sustainable tuna purchases to 90%, and sourced 85% of tuna from sustainable fisheries. Recognized for its efforts, Thai Union was listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices for the 10th year and ranked No. 1 on the Seafood Stewardship Index for the third consecutive time.
