The German pet food producer Seitz, headquartered near Bremen, announced the expansion of its warehouse and manufacturing capacity. The plant will go on line at the beginning of 2023 and contains a high-bay system as well as a cold store for animal and vegetable raw materials.

“We want to be closer to our production and increase delivery security further for our customers,” explains Max Graf Kerssenbrock, chairman of the Seitz management team.

The pet food manufacturer will now bring together all goods which previously have been stored in external warehouses in the new plant located in Langwedel.

The new facility underlies a elaborate enery concept sourcing engery via either gas or oil. Furthermore, the plant includes a modern, eco-friendly refrigeration system. On top, the company will install an energy recovery system to increase energy efficiency to its maximum.
