The German company Pets Nature aimed to receive the exclusive right for distribution Orijen and Acana brands of Canadian pet food manufacturer Champion Petfoods. According to Pets Nature with effect from 15 November they are responsible for the entire dry food and treat range of dog and cat food.
As a result, David Bäuerle will rule the roost of purchasing, customer service, logistics and IT as from 2022. Dennis Vidal, former sales manager for the German-speaking countries since 2019, will become head of sales, marketing and R&D units. His goal is to increase the popularity of Orijen and Acana among local retailers. Supported by an European sales marketing team from Champion Petfoods, located in Amsterdam, he will start focussing the major markets of Germany, France and the UK followed by Italy, Spain, Portugal and Poland.
