In order to build the worldwide leading consumer intelligence company, two market research companies Nielsen IQ and GfK will join forces.
The merger will bring together two company that have independently worked on omnichannel coverage, analysis, and business intelligence tools.
The combination records sales of over 4 bn dollars and over 30 000 clients in across 100 countries. It will keep its main locations with Chicago (USA), Nuremberg (Germany) and Geneva (Switzerland).
