The study highlights the evolving needs of pet parents, with nearly half (47%) being first-time owners and a growing emotional connection between pets and their owners. Cat ownership has increased globally, with more men now owning cats. Despite the joy pets bring, many owners face challenges, such as guilt about leaving pets alone and difficulties traveling with them. Mars aims to use these insights to innovate and improve the pet parenting experience.
