Mars Petcare has acquired Champion Petfoods, according to an announcement by the company on 1 November. There have not been disclosed any further detail of the deal.

Champion Petfoods, founded in 1985, is a pet food manufacturer concentrating on “biologically appropriate” pet nutrition. The company is developper and owner of ORIJEN and ACANA brands which are available in over 90 countries.
