As part of its collaboration with Billy Chip, a social enterprise committed to aiding the homeless, the UK pet store chain Jollyes has contributed over £25,000 to support individuals living on the streets along with their pets.

In the initial six weeks since the launch, Jollyes customers purchased more than 12,000 Billy Chips, providing a unique avenue for direct assistance to those experiencing homelessness. Customers have the option to personally give a Billy Chip to someone in need or deposit it into a designated box at the store’s till. A Billy Chip can be exchanged for dog food for a homeless person with a pet or utilized at participating cafes and restaurants for a hot drink or a meal.

The Jollyes branch in Kettering alone saw customers acquiring 1,600 Billy Chips. Other Jollyes stores with notable Billy Chip sales are situated in Hull, Cannock, Great Bridge in Tipton, and Dereham.
