The British company Jollyes recorded a total turnover of £53.2 million (€61.6M) in the first half of 2022. The sales increased by 23% compared to the same period in 2021 due to more in-store buying as well as more store openings and acquisitions.
“The half-year performance shows that our approach of being a national group with a local approach is what customers want. We’re in a strong position to achieve our ambitious growth plans, and we have significant opportunities to bring our unique offer to more communities across the UK,” said Executive Chairman Richard Cotter.
The pet retailer opens another two stores this week and plans the opening of 6 more by Max next year. The company’s 100th store is expected to be open by the beginning of 2023.
