Ikea UK and the British animal welfare initiative Woodgreen have teamed up to feature cats and dogs looking for new homes in their new catalogues. The catalogues showcase cosy cat beds, scratching posts, stylish dog beds, and cat houses, with animals photographed using various pieces of Ikea pet furniture. Michaela Quinlan, country commercial manager of Ikea UK and Ireland, hopes the partnership will raise awareness of pet adoption and inspire comfortable living spaces for pets. Last year, Woodgreen saw a significant increase in abandoned pets and those given up due to financial reasons. Through this collaboration, Ikea UK supports Woodgreen’s mission with both monetary donations and donated pet furniture.
