Hill’s Pet Nutrition and Colgate-Palmolive have partnered with The Street Dog Coalition to improve care access for unhoused people and their pets under the One Health approach. This initiative provides free oral health and hygiene products to pet parents and veterinary healthcare and nutrition to their pets. Now legacy-level sponsors of The Street Dog Coalition, Hill’s and Colgate will support the nonprofit’s mission to offer free veterinary care to those experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The partnership was launched at a pop-up veterinary clinic during the American Veterinary Medical Association Convention in Austin, Texas, featuring the unveiling of a new RV to extend care to rural areas. Dr. Hilary Wheeler of The Street Dog Coalition and Dr. Karen Shenoy of Hill’s Pet Nutrition highlighted the partnership’s alignment with their missions to improve health and transform pets’ lives.
