The German machinery firm Handtmann will celebrate 150 years of business. Operating in more than 100 countries, the leading company for food production portioning could record sales of €1.1 billion ($1.2B) in 2022.
Handtmann’s systems can grind, mix, link, dose, form, and extract any kind of pet food no matter if it contains meat or alternative protein such as fish, dough, or dairy products.
The Filling & Portioning division, located in Biberach an der Riss, Germany, reported a revenue of €340 million ($372.5M) last year. The company has more facilities located in Zittau and Reutlingen in Germany, Amersfoort in the Netherlands, and Hluk in the Czech Republic.

In 1873, Handtmann was founded as an artisan brass foundry, now the company will hold an offical anniversary ceremony on 15 and 16 September.
