From 1 August, Fressnapf Group will take over the three Superpet stores in Hattersheim (2 400 m²), Bischofsheim (1 850 m²) and Mainz (1 300 m²).
Fressnapf’s Senior vice-president of sales in Germany Jochen Huppert illustrated that “the three new stores in great locations and with a loyal customer base will mark a large step forward in our transformation from supplier to care provider. We are delighted to be able to integrate all employees at the three stores with their cumulative expertise and enthusiasm and welcome them warmly into our Fressnapf family.”
The three stores, which lately have brought in sales of more than 13.75 mio euros, will be incorporated in the new XXL concept and run by franchise partners of Fressnapf.
In 2021, Fressnapf opened 120 new stores across Europe and continues the expansion of its network with this acquisition.
