The German retailer Fressnapf has revealed its good business performance last year increasing the revenue by 11%.

“As an economically stable company, we benefit from our resilient business model and our strategy of an omnichannel ecosystem,” said founder and owner Torsten Toeller.

Last year, the pet retailer celebrated the opening of 130 locations across Europe whereas the biggest step was the merger between Arcaplanet and Fressnapf’s Maxi Zoo which lead to a number of 500 shops. According to a statement from 2022, the company intends to open 400 stores by 2025.

Lately, Fressnapf has started to increase operations in Romania and Croatia.
