According to CEO Billy Cyr, the new appointments “will significantly impact the business and help to support our operational momentum.” At the end of 2022, Freshpet achieved a 39.9% increase in sales, compared to $425.5 million (€402M) in 2021.
These changes in management go along with the company’s Operational Improvement Plan aiming to improve quality, logistics, expansion, and fill rates. Furthermore, a little fight with one of the company’s stakeholders, JANA Partners, preceded the appointments.
