Edgard & Cooper, a Belgian pet food producer, has obtained B Corp certificate acknowledging enterprises that fulfil several ecological and social sustainability requirements. The company scored 94.1 points.
The three directors Louis Chalabi, Koen Bostoen and Jürgen Degrande committed to the welfare of pets, people and the planet since the company’s founding in 2014. Aiming to become the world’s most sustainable pet food brand with “Zero Pawprint”, the enterprise founded the Edgard & Cooper Foundation in 2016, that fetched more than 600,000 euros for beneficial purposes so far.
