The 28th China International Pet Show (CIPS) took place in Guangzhou from September 10 to 13, showcasing a distinctly Chinese theme under the motto “Dragon Rising in the East.” Covering 100,000 m², the event saw a 67% increase in space and a 50% rise in exhibitor participation, with over 1,400 exhibitors. More than 70,000 trade visitors from over 120 countries attended, with a notable 73% increase in international attendees, primarily from Japan, Malaysia, the USA, Russia, and Germany. Key exhibitor sectors included dog and cat products (64%), aquarium products (29%), small pets and birds (4%), and reptiles (3%).
