Cats for Future is an initiative that supports environmentally conscious and sustainable cat owning. The initiative wants to point out the environmental problems due to mineral cat litter. Therefore, the aim is to push the popularity of plant-based litter.
Cats for Future has now been nominated in the Special Prize category for the best campaign of the European Week for Waste Reduction (EWAV). “We are very pleased to receive this nomination and grateful to have had the opportunity in the European Week for Waste Reduction to draw attention to the growing yet largely unknown environmental problem,” says Michael Behnke, spokesman for the initiative.
Around 1,500 different projects incorporated and showed their programs during the week. The winners will be awarded at the award ceremony at the beginning of June.
