In order to push the use of innovative technology among consumers, Cargill has aquired the telehealth company Zoonivet which represents another step into the Indian pet care industry.

In cooperation with Cargill Digital Studios, the pet care service was published in October last year offering pet owners the opportunity to receive veterinary help via video call.

In Bangalore, the 100,000 app users have the opportunity to use video consultations, home diagnostic and vaccination services.

According to the company, there are plans already to expand into other ier-1 cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad and Lucknow by the end of this year.

“As we expand further, we will continue adding tech-led interventions to enhance the consumer experience on the app while ensuring fur babies get quality services at the click of a button,” stated Zoonivet’s Founder, Ruchir Vatsal.
