Bella & Duke, the Scotland-based company specializing in subscription pet food and well-being, has named James Sturrock as its new chief executive, while co-founder Mark Scott assumes a non-executive director role.

Sturrock comes to Bella & Duke with a wealth of experience in overseeing revenue and profitability growth for brands like Moonpig and Eve Sleep. His most recent role involved serving as the group CEO at Tapi Carpets & Floors, overseeing digital transformation and substantial expansion. Sturrock’s appointment aims to bolster Bella & Duke as it pursues its ambitious industry goals.

Founded in 2016, Bella & Duke claims the title of the UK’s premier subscription provider of raw pet food, delivering over 15 million meals throughout the UK in 2023. The company, which brought manufacturing in-house just two years ago, received recognition as the Manufacturer of the Year 2023 at the recent Pet Industry Federation Awards.
