After the acquisition of Arcaplanet by Cinven followed by the merger with the Fressnapf Group, the Italian pet retailer chose Nicolò Galante as chief executive officer (CEO) and Alessandro Strati as chief financial officer (CFO).

Galante comes from the position as COO and as CEO of the large stores at the Central Group in Thailand. Furthermore, he had been the president of central retail.

Strati formerly worked as CFO at illy Caffè. He can look back on 25 years of experience working e.g. for Fila and Moleskine. According to Arcaplanet, he is an expert in the areas finance, M&A and capital markets.

The new Arcaplanet Group consisting of Arcaplanet and Maxi Zoo Italia will operate more than 450 stores across Italy. Cinven and Fressnapf intend to extend the company’s growth across several channels in Italy and new markets. At this juncture, the new formed group benefits from the sharehoders‘ experience in the pet and digital trade sectors.
