Andreas Obermayr (age 46) will join Austria Pet Food as the second managing director and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) from October 1, 2023, and will lead the company alongside Bernd Berghofer (age 51) in the future. The native of Vorarlberg was most recently responsible for the national sales area and export business to the adjacent CEE region as managing director of Griesson – de Beukelaer Austria. Prior to that, he held various positions in sales at Römerquelle and Coca-Cola.

With all his competence and experience, he will make a significant contribution to the further development of Austria Pet Food into one of the leading European pet food producers. He is the perfect fit for the implementation of our very ambitious and extensive growth strategy.”

Ten years ago, Austria Pet Food GmbH started the production of high-quality canned pet food in the newly built plant in Pöttelsdorf. Since then, nearly 1 billion cans have been filled and sold worldwide. The company is now considered one of the flagship industrial enterprises in Burgenland. A turnover of approximately 52 million is targeted for this year, and the site now employs nearly 100 people. Behind Austria Pet Food is an investor group consisting of Athena Burgenland Beteiligungen AG, Pet Food Holding GmbH & Co KG, Mr. Otto Bruckner, Mühldorfer Nutrition AG, and the management.
