In order to increase its capabilities, ADM has arranged a dedication function presenting the new premix production line at the Chierry manufactury.
The premix caters for meeting the rising demand of consumers regarding pet food. The facility will turn out premium and functional premixes to be utilized in wet and dry pet foods, treats and supplements.
“Consumers increasingly turn to food and treats as a source of overall health and wellbeing for their pets,” stated Jorge Martinez, president of pet nutrition at ADM. “We’re excited to continue investing in the pet nutrition space to help our customers meet these growing demands for high-quality, responsibly produced pet nutrition products.”
At the festivities, the customers got the opportunity to watch presentations on the pet food market, new innovation and the possibilities created throughout the new premix as well as to join a tour through the facility.
“Our new pet premix capabilities allow us to explore new ways of blending specific ingredients, opening up incredible potential for innovation that helps position ADM as a go-to partner,” Martinez added.
Last year, the company has acquired parts of PetDine, Pedigree Ovens, The Pound Bakery and NutraDine in order to increase its influence in pet nutrition industry. Furthermore, ADM has made investments in its factories like a new culinary kitchen and extrusion plant at the Animal Nutrition Technology Center in Illinois.
“More than ever, ADM’S expansive portfolio of top-quality ingredients allows customers to eliminate the complexity of sourcing ingredients and qualifying suppliers,” Martinez explained. “ADM is the strategic partner for developing on-trend pet food and treat innovations for today’s pet owner’s demands while ensuring unsurpassed safety and quality.”
