Seven European startups will take part in an accelerator programm across 12 weeks starting at 26 September.
The participating companies will obtain $200,000 as funds and each one will be granted access to the expertise of strategists, technologists, designers, and consultants to develop their individual ways to reach their goals.
The following companies have been selected for the Leap Venture Studio accelerator program:
- BorrowMyDoggy (community to find local sitters for dogs)
- HiPets (marketplace and veterinary booking system)
- Marleybones (a dog’s subscription service)
- Moggie (platform for cat health)
- People who kaer (pet supplement company)
- Rex (vet clinic)
- Pretty Well (subscription service for natural meals)
Furthermore, all participants will get an individual coaching to dispose for further fundraising in the future.
The program was started in 2018 through the cooperation of three companies Mars Petcare, Michelson Found Animals Foundation, and services platform R/GA Ventures.
Since its start, 33 companies were supported to raise $170 mio capital.
