Virbac has announced the acquisition of Mopsan, a Turkish distributor of companion animal products. Based in Istanbul and with over 30 years of experience in the veterinary sector, Mopsan operates a distribution network spanning Ankara, İzmir, and Antalya. The acquisition positions Virbac to enhance its reach and services in the growing Turkish pet health market.
Alican İngeç, Mopsan’s former owner and managing director, has been appointed to oversee all of Virbac’s Turkish operations. Virbac views the acquisition as a strategic move to better address the needs of the Turkish animal health industry.
